The Heritage Commission advises on use and protection of historic, cultural, and aesthetic resources in Concord, NH. This website repository is a photographic journal of historic properties, documenting the saving, restoration, and in some instances, the loss of our historic treasures.

Our Authority is legislated under NH RSA 673:4(a); Ordinances 21212398 and 2401; Article 28-9-1. Members of the Heritage Commission is appointed by the City Manager.

It's always sad to see a place with history and memories be demolished. Norris House certainly had a significant place in the community and Concord History. Driven by economic pressures, the loss is tragic. See the gallery pictures for a view of what was in the interior.
